The transdisciplinary trio dubistdu do not create a track, a choreography or a film.
Much rather, du bist du aims to create a space in which all media inform each other equally and simultaneously: music finds a visual form and a movement, video evokes a dance and a melody, and the movement of a body awakens image and sound.
The trio throws itself into the uncertainty of collective improvisation and trusts that all their channels of communication will come together, inseparably even. This symbiosis is the creative process and output/outcome of du bist du. A triangle of people, disciplines and media.
Communication with the audience is purely visual and auditory, without words. Dramaturgy and narrative meander alongside improvisation. The space takes shape through the multimedial setting, through the connection and interaction between the players, and through the unhidden technical backbone.
